Oaths sworn

The Governor had been informed, with the result that brows were being clutched, oaths sworn, fist shaken, and sal volatile sold out in the shops, no doubt. there hadn’t been a sensation like this since the last Presbyterian Church jumble sale. But of course nothing was done.
